Award Crafted from 100% Recycled Glass Celebrates Sustainability at #SustainabilityCalling

Design that reflects action and purpose. The Sustainability Calling conference was set with a clear focus on honesty, action, and real impact, aiming to create a space for sincere conversations and shared learning.

To reflect this ethos, the organisers Dr Sustainability ensured every detail of the event stayed true to its purpose, right down to the materials used. This led them to Oseng-Rees Reflection Ltd to have the award made for the event, a physical reminder that every choice, no matter how small, can align with sustainable value.

The award was crafted from 100% fused recycled glass using reclaimed material, with text imprinted in laser-etched copper oxides that created gold-coloured shimmering lettering on the surface. Combining simple, circular materials with carefully considered detailing, it stood as a symbol of thoughtful, responsible design.

The conference brought together a diverse group of people, all eager to learn, share ideas, and explore how they could make a positive impact. With the circular economy and resource management at the heart of the discussions, it highlighted how these are some of the most powerful levers for a more sustainable future.

Congratulations to Kieran Keohane for winning the award.
