Oseng-Rees Reflection Ltd Signs Green Growth Pledge
Oseng-Rees Reflection Ltd has formally committed to the Green Growth Pledge, reinforcing its dedication to sustainable business practices, responsible growth, and climate-conscious values. By signing on, the company joins a growing movement of enterprises across Wales embedding sustainability into their core strategies.
Specialising in artisan fused recycled glass crafted entirely from 100% waste glass, Oseng-Rees Reflection is the only UK producer of large-scale fused recycled glass panels. Transforming discarded materials such as bottles, car glass, and construction waste into durable, stone-like designs, the studio merges innovation with environmental responsibility to create installations ranging from wall cladding and reception desks to lighting features and bespoke gifts.
Company representatives emphasised that the pledge is not just symbolic but will guide future decisions on energy use, resource management, and community engagement. The initiative is expected to strengthen trust among clients and partners, while positioning the business as a leader in ethical entrepreneurship.
The pledge is backed by a comprehensive Environmental Policy Statement, which sets out key commitments:
Improving energy and water efficiency through high‑efficiency equipment and fixtures
Implementing the waste hierarchy and supporting clients to recycle effectively
Exploring renewable energy and rainwater collection systems
Promoting environmental awareness through regular training for employees and clients
Using low‑impact materials and prioritising local suppliers to reduce mileage and boost the local economy
Employing locally and investing in workforce development
Rooted in the principles of the Well-being of Future Generations Act, Oseng-Rees Reflection champions circular economy practices and pledges to review progress annually, inviting feedback from customers, suppliers, and employees. This step positions the company as a model for eco-conscious design and sustainable entrepreneurship in Wales.
