Winner of Wales Prestige Awards 2023/24

I am truly honoured to be named the Bespoke Artist of the Year at the Prestige Awards 2023/24.

This recognition is a testament to my commitment to sustainability, the circular economy, and the art of bespoke creations. It warms my heart to see that my work, which places a strong emphasis on tailored responses to clients and customers, has resonated with the judges. In each commission, I dedicate substantial time to research and development, pushing boundaries to meet new challenges and precise material specifications. This award not only celebrates past accomplishments but also motivates me to continue contributing to the intersection of art, sustainability, and personalized craftsmanship.

In the interview, I had the opportunity to delve into my current project, an endeavour that further underscores my dedication to craftsmanship and sustainability. Currently, I am immersed in the creation of 800 bespoke shingles for a Grade II listed building in Cornwall. This project represents a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, as I meticulously tailor each shingle to meet the historical specifications while incorporating sustainable materials and practices. It's a testament to my ongoing commitment to pushing boundaries and meeting the unique demands of each commission. This recognition as the Bespoke Artist of the Year at the Prestige Awards 2023/24 only fuels my passion for creating meaningful, environmentally conscious art.
