“The future is built in the meeting points. Creativity, culture and cross‑disciplinarity as forces for the future” by Tyra Oseng‑Rees”
Tyra Oseng-Rees is delighted to announce that she will be speaking atHacks to the Futures 2026 –festival, taking place in Stavanger this June. The festival, organised by Næringsforeningen i Stavanger-regionen, is one of the region’s most forward‑looking gatherings, bringing together bold thinkers, creative practitioners and industry leaders to explore how we shape the future.
This year’s festival promises to be an inspiring meeting point for ideas, imagination and innovation. In her talk, Tyra will share insights from her cross‑disciplinary work at the intersection of creativity, cultural understanding and sustainable design. She will reflect on how the Welsh Well-being of Future Generations Act has influenced her approach to long‑term value creation and systems thinking, and explore what becomes possible when art, design, research, culture and entrepreneurship collide. She will also share examples from her own practice and the questions that continue to drive her work.
Tyra is thrilled to join an exceptional lineup of speakers, including:
Gabriel Schanche Gilje – Managing Director, Holon Arkitektur Stavanger
Janne Stigen Drangsholt – Professor, University of Stavanger
Fremtidsfestivalen is designed to offer insight, knowledge and inspiration — and Tyra is excited to contribute to a programme that looks ahead with imagination and ambition.
