Join me for a public talk at the Norwegian Church Cardiff Bay Sunday March 24th at 2pm

I am pleased to be invited to the Welsh Norwegian Societies monthly meeting to share my journey as a glass artist in recycled materials in the open talk at the Norwegian Church Cardiff Bay Sunday March 24th at 2 pm. You are all warmly welcome.

My talk will encounter amongst a recently made memorial plaque for Karen Allen, a former church manager and WNS member. I will also talk about my journey of setting up the business Oseng-Rees Reflection Ltd with a focus on art and sustainability in the creative industry, and how it is to embark on the entrepreneurial journey here in Wales.

I am originally from northern Norway and moved to Wales twenty years ago to study product design and I fell in love with Wales and never left. I am now settled in Swansea, where I founded Oseng-Rees Reflection Ltd, focusing on architectural panels made entirely from waste glass. I hold a PhD in fused recycled glass material and have been recognized for my work, including being named Bespoke Artist of the Year for 2023/24 and receiving the Female Entrepreneur Award for Swansea and West Wales in 2022. During the event, I will discuss my experiences and showcase some of my creations. I will also be bringing a few items that is available for purchasing at a special WNS discounted price.

Everyone is warmly invited to join us for coffee and refreshments at the Norwegian Church's function room.
