During the course of the year the students learnt about entrepreneurial business start-ups, innovation and new product development, circular economy, sustainable business and how fused recycled glass can be used for interior installations. They had to critically reflect on current trends applicable to working environments and reflect upon their work performance and consider the relevance of the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act.

Oseng-Rees Reflection provided the students with hands on experience working in the studio learning about manufacturing processes of recycled glass. They participated in circular economy workshops aimed at businesses in Wales, debated various of ways of sustainable business management and discussed what a strong and ethical business identity really means. The students researched how to start a small business and how to grow the business using social media, direct marketing, and sales and finally reviewed their own learning outcomes.
